User Profile

For the record, I hate these things. You're supposed to be witty and intriguing enough to draw in your fellow authors/readers/literary addicts, so they will desire to learn more. I'm afraid my witticism account has been depleted as of late. Perhaps it may be that there is a strong positive correlation between it and my banking account. It seems good humor is often tied to good finance.

Footnotes of my life read as follows:

I'm college educated several times over, thus I have no money (student loans, you see). Do we see my humor wavering? I've a background in business, music, cats, martial arts, horses, writing... never mind. Were I to hit only the highlights, I'd still have too much to write. Jack of all trades, Master of none. Or would that be 'Jane' and 'Mistress'?

Though initially drug kicking and proverbially screaming (not the kicking - that was quite literal), my dear friend Pamela introduced me to the world of Harry Potter, and since then I've become a marrow-infested fanatic (read: bone-deep). Did I mention I've a dry sense of humor? Such as it is, it goes well with my love of fellow fantasies LOTR and Twilight. I'm a patron of the adventurous arts.

Re: Friending

Please, it may seem a little thing - inconsequential to some - but it is only polite to inform someone when you 'friend' them that you are doing so, and why. A private message or even a comment on one of their public posts is quite sufficient. Otherwise, it comes off rather stalkerish, and doubtful I will return the friending.

Re: Unfriending

Occasionally (about once a year) I sift through my friends cache. If you have not posted in a distinctively long while, nor commented on any of my own posts (or replied to any comments I may have left on yours posts), I will consider you having either abandoned your journal, or lost interest in me as a f-list candidate. I will then 'unfriend' you. This is not an insult, but simply a housekeeping chore. If you believe I have erroneously unfriended you, or you have since returned to the LJ world and would like me to re-friend you, please, feel free to PM about this.
